White Lions

The film is about a group of intellectuals who were once famous but now find themselves in difficult situation having to undertake any type of work just to survive.

There is opera singer Bela who now sings at parties and weddings. Famous film director Gruja films funerals and weddings for a living and tries to save enough money to marry Bela. Professor of philosophy Baki is a night watchman. Then there is Gruja's father Dile, an unemployed factory worker, who organizes a strike by fellow factory workers who have not been paid for 6 years. Dile has many ideas of how to 'transfer' wealth from the rich to the poor workers.

The current socio-economic position is reflected in this movie which demonstrates there is no middle class but just 'have and have nots'.
